Baymont by Wyndham Pompton Plains/Wayne

I have to say that I was concerned about how the hotel was going to be given some of the ratings and comments. Keeping in mind that this is a 2 start hotel, I am not sure about many of the complaints. The parking was clearly lit at night; the halls did not smell of weed; the hotel was clean (it did not even look like that old of a property). Clearly this is not a resort, but for business travel or everyday, reasonably priced travel, it was absolutely fine. I was staying over with a patient in the nearby Chilton Hospital and I was completely satisfied.

Pretty nice facility. Definitely well maintained and cared for. Nice clean room, good mattress, no odors or issues. A good step up from more basic facilities. Whoever the owner is / manager is clearly cares about guest experience and keeping the property nice and tidy. Well done.

Pros - Very friendly staff Breakfast provided On site bar Very close to a KFC Comfortable bed Spacious room I believe they have different style rooms. Our room was spacious with a fridge, microwave, and kitchenette area.

Clean facility, welcoming staff, very convenient parking lot and good location.

The room was spacious with 2 big beds. The bathroom was clean and functional.
